Description

The Floor & Décor Metairie LA project was a 58,470 square foot big box retail store. The Huntsville location was another unique project as the owner was taking over an existing space but also expanding into three additional unoccupied spaces. The scope of work consisted of the demolition of the three unoccupied spaces and the erection of pre-cast panels with structural steel tying back into the other existing structure. This location was heavy in the utility relocation because of the expansion. New primaries and two transformer relocations needed to occur to relocate the underground electric from under the new expansion. The interior construction was standard for Floor & Décor and consisted of a new 6’’ concrete slab on grade, metal stud framing for the office package and design center.
